HOUSE CONCERTS

House concerts are basically just that: a show where you invite people to come and hear me play in the comfort of your own home.  Hosts are asked to collect $10 per person with proceeds going to me the artist.  Another way to do it if you're uncomfortable charging your guests is to pay me a flat fee.  I've done house concerts for as few as 30 people and as many as 100 (big house). CDs are available for sale at the show.  In areas that are geographically far removed from my home base of Toronto, shows will generally have to coincide with my tour schedule.  It’s best to plan a few months months ahead, but it’s always ok to ask … ‘cause you never know what we can pull together!

I've found house concerts are some of the best shows I've done because of the comfortable relaxed atmosphere.  It's a great excuse for folks to organize a get-together and see people they haven't seen in awhile.  They're also unique because of the setting: someone's house!  I've done house concerts in every imaginable size, shape, and vintage of building ... from brand-spankin'-new modern abodes to a historic site built in the 1700s(in Buck's County PA) ... to a loft in Soho ... to a condo downtown Toronto ... the list goes on ...
